Okay, here are my reviews for all those finales that have aired over the last couple of months that either weren't exciting enough for me to write about them right away or that took a while for me to get to due to life being hectic at the time.  Here it goes:

( A wide range of shows that will give the impression that I never do anything but watch telly. Spoilers through all series through the finales. )

First off, I saw Thor today and it was amazing, and the preview for Captain America looks pretty awesome too.  I can't wait for The Avengers now, especially since the wonderful Joss Whedon is directing it.

Also, I saw a poster for the new Abrams film Super 8 in the cinema lobby and actually stood there stroking it for a few minutes.  I got more than ( Read more... )

First off, I just want to say that I enjoyed the second half of this story much more than I did the first half (The Impossible Astronaut).

OMG, YOU GUYS!  THE DOCTOR IS IN!  MY REASON FOR LIVING AND BREATHING AND WALKING THIS EARTH HAS RETURNED AND JUST....OMG, I AM SO EXCITED!  I HAVE MISSED HIM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

*cough*

Now that that's out of the way, on to my actual thoughts:

So, now that I am home from my great-Aunt Lib's funeral in NC, I got to sit down and watch the Doctor Who sketch from Red Nose Day.

And, as usual, all my excitement for it was outweighed by a too noticeable lack of writing talent from Steven Moffat.

( Fate seems so much more interesting when Pinkner and Wyman write about it. Moffat just makes it seem like a plot device to avoid writing anything genius. )

My weeks are pretty dull.

Monday: Work at museum from early morning to late evening.  Giggle with Beth while at work.  Fangirl history and lament sad state of history education in VA.  Come home.  Eat dinner.  Surf the net.  Watch House, The Event, and Hawaii Five-O with Daddy and bro.  Surf net some more.
